Anyone else watching? Airs on USA/Peacock Mondays 10 PM

Like the mix of teams on this season so far. Good mix of people with different backgrounds, not too many annoying people and one of the more annoying pairs got axed first. Glad they chose NZ's South Island, the prettiest place I've ever gotten to do some extensive travel. If you're a fan of Amazing Race/Survivor/Naked & Afraid type of stuff you'll enjoy this.

Also...very very brave for a dude to choose to team up with a chick he divorced 5 months previous.

Bump.

Y'all watch episodes 1&2 so you'll be ready for ep. 3 on Monday.

I'd also like to put a wager on the winning team, but that doesn't matter if I'm the only person watching it...
The airborne firefighter dudes will win.

My take on the teams after episodes 1 & 2

Rhandi & Ashley: Don't seem incredibly well suited for this kind of thing, also both over 40, don't think they'll last real long

Brooklyn dudes: Almost lost on Leg 1, don't think their experience in climbing will help them much overall, guessing they'll be done pretty early

Divorcees: Actually seem physically and training-wise to be one of the better groups, but withing the first 2 episodes it seems like she hates him and they don't mesh well. She seemed kinda close to snapping. Probably won't help then win this

Father and SIL: One of the stronger pairs. Both seem rugged and in good shape. Good outdoorsmen. If SIL's lack of experience doesn't hurt him they could be contenders

Rafting dude: Also seem like one of the most likely winning teams. They're both young, in great shape, and seem sharp. Their lack of outdoors skills outside of rafting might hurt them. Also, they're both very slender, no reserves. Might get taken out if they don't get enough calories.

Marathoners: Fairly strong pair, obviously in really good shape. Jeff is in his late 40s so we we'll see if he has it in him.

Firefighters: My favorites to win. Partially just because I like them the most. Pretty good balance of age, training, grit, teamwork.

Emilio and Heather: Got bounced early, seemed obviously poorly suited for this. Between him being old and them being bickering yankees, seemed destined to lose early

Canadian oil riggers: Interesting pair, not sure how much training they have, pretty good shape and seem to have really strong report. She seems a bit emotionally shaky. Outside chance of winning
