Just finished watching the series. We really liked it. Interesting characters and well acted. Good story line and reminder if how f'ed up Russia was under Lenin and then Stalin.

I really enjoyed the book, but man it's a beating to have to go get another streamer to watch this. Can't wait till we move out of the current era of streaming to something better.
Good to hear its worth the effort though.

I have the finale left to go. I absolutely LOVED the book, mainly because of the writing. The show takes a lot from the book, including entire passages of dialogue. But the show also has a different tone and changes some things story wise. I understand the need and can kind of sympathize with some of the changes, but still liked what the book did.

Having said all of that, I still really like the show. I'd also recommend it both to people who have and have not read the book.

My wife and I finished it last night. Having never read the book, I had no idea what to expect. We loved it.

This is a book that I loved that I would have sworn could never translate well to the screen; guess I was wrong!

Been watching this recently. Ewan McGregor is great, and it took me a minute to realize he was playing the love interest of his real wife. I will say, the totally unbelievable dreadlock-wearing black Bolshevik party leader(s) is a bit distracting.

I watched this series last year and I really enjoyed it. Taking a look at Ewan McGregor's IMDB history and it honestly might be the role I've enjoyed the most of his, he was perfect.
