Absolutely loving it.

Just finished the episode where Walter meets Tuco.
This is may be old news/common knowledge among the fans but during the explosion and guys are screaming/yelling, they added in the Howard Dean scream. I about lost it.

I think this is why I didn't love Better Call Saul. I heard it was better than Breaking Bad and then was disappointed when I didn't find it one of the best shows ever made.

the people that argue that were likely late to the party on BB, and victims of all the hype (and bingewatching).

Hol' up - what episode are you on again? I do NOT recall the Howard Dean scream.

You aren't the only one - S1E6

BB had a great ending.

But when you get to the episode about the Fly… just click next. It's the only filler episode in the entire show.
Thanks and gig'em

I guess we all have our opinion on which shows are overrated. This was one for me. I enjoyed it just fine, but definitely not the greatest thing I've experience on TV, as some would have you believe.

Dave Chapelle is a comedic genius and a national treasure.

I was laughing all the way through his version.

I'm with you. I know everyone thinks the 5th season is the greatest thing ever, but I think 4 is better. Not saying 5 isn't good, I just didn't like the direction it went, especially with the new characters.

Totally disagree! I loved that episode! I saw it as a metaphor for the insanity of what they are doing in an abstract sort of way.

As each season progressed they crossed certain barriers, what happened to Jane, the cartels, Walt's manipulation of Jesse, but they crossed a huge line when Todd killed the boy on the dirt bike in the train episode.

The addition of Todd and the neo-Nazis certainly added a twist along with the European connection and Lydia Rodarte-Quayle.

Overall, still compelling and one of the best shows to ever air.

Who crossed a huge line - the writers or the characters? If you mean the latter - I think that was the point?

Pay particular attention to the detail in every scene: the lighting, the dialog, the camera angles, the transitions, etc

Aside from great actors and storylines, the extreme attention to detail made this series an art form.

I liked BB ok at the start but it was the episode titled "One Minute" that it went next level for me. Then it just went to levels I never thought a show could go to.

It's my all time #1 and I find it kinda hard to believe it'll ever be topped by another show for me personally.

The musical montages VG often incorporated were absolutely beautiful.

And not just visually but from a cinematic aspect that he was able to capture so much with no dialogue. To go from A to B with no words was awesome to watch.

The writers and show runner of course.

Like I said, still one of the best series ever.

The giant drama with some humor thrown in was perfect.

I never got the hype, but to each their own. I think Mad Men is much better, and imo it's the best show of the 21st century.
