I would pay good money to listen to him talk about A&M. Hopefully those in the audience are thick-skinned and have a good sense of humor.TCTTS said:
I would pay good money to watch Burr cater his set around certain things he learned about A&M earlier that day. Just watching him try to wrap his head around the traditions, culture, etc would be hilarious.
Outside of some of the yells that I always thought were lame, it never really hit me how weird we were until about the third or fourth Aggie wedding I attended in the couple of years right after graduation. Bonfire wedding cakes. Maroon and white flowers and decorations. Maroon bridesmaids. Signing the War Hymn at a wedding. Everyone yelling whoop over the slightest thing. It was like finally having an Aggie out of body experience. The Collective said:
Burr is a huge sports fan - he has to at least have some idea on how weird we are.
Going to be some people there who have never heard of Bill Burr and they are going to be UPSET.PatAg said:
people better show up with a sense of humor about themselves, he will go IN

I didn't realize they finished Rogan's club; that's cool to hear.dave99ag said:
This just became an expensive comedy week. Snagged VIP tickets to Kill Tony in Rogan's new place and Burr in CS. Lots of great comedy coming to Texas these days!
First show was last night: Ron White, Tim Dillon, Rosanne Barr, Tony Hinchcliffe, and Joe Rogan.DallasTeleAg said:I didn't realize they finished Rogan's club; that's cool to hear.dave99ag said:

its funny b/c its true. There are people on this thread that sang the war hymn at my wedding. That said, my wife went to Wisconsin, so we also did Jump Around.dave99ag said:First show was last night: Ron White, Tim Dillon, Rosanne Barr, Tony Hinchcliffe, and Joe Rogan.DallasTeleAg said:I didn't realize they finished Rogan's club; that's cool to hear.dave99ag said:

I'd love to see Bill Burr, but unfortunately I'm out of town that week.
Kill Tony seems like it would be a very fun show to attenddave99ag said:

My wife (also and Ag) and I opted to get married in a small ceremony In Hawaii.
Maybe. He's probably pretty familiar with our team and performance, but it can be hard to pickup on all of the A&M traditions that make it unique by watching on tv beyond the fact that we showcase the corps alot. The Collective said:

What's the presale code?
Burr's incredible. He and Nate Bargatze are my two current favs. Two completely different styles, and I realize Nate doesn't do it for everyone, but I find him and his delivery style to me hilarious.Brian Earl Spilner said:
Burr is the best current comedian, imo. Yes, better than Chappelle.
