I just got finished watching the screening at the theater. It was everything I wanted and more. I knew what was coming with the end of episode 3 and it still got to me.

Didn't know this is rolling out again, good deal. Somehow invincible still doesn't have season 2 yet?

Huge news today for campaign 2 fans, Amazon picked it up as an animated series!

I know nothing about Critical Role outside of this series. Is the second campaign as good?

Short answer, yes. It's more drama and political intrigue based and less fetch quest. More character driven. I like both campaigns equally for different reasons.

Feel like there will be some way for her to come back to life but we will see.

Which arc of c2 are they doing I wonder?

There a couple of really really good "HOLY SH" reveals in c2 that I am hoping we get to see on screen. I'd love to see the Hag, or Ukutoa.

Right on the money. I assume most people unfamiliar with D&D see the game as: go to locatoon, clear out bads, fetch item/info, report back, get reward.

C2 gets off to a "slow" start for a lot of people, esp. If they dont know that Campaign 1 started off screen way before they opened the game for public viewing - so we sort of started when things were already "moving": characters knew eachother, they already had goals, etc.

C2 tends to be more slow paced, especially at the start, as the players are feeling out eachothers characters history and motivations, the setting, etc. And like the previous poster said, it gets heavy on political intrigue.

It looks like it will start from close to the beginning.

So far episode 7 has been the biggest divergence from the campaign, but definitely staying true to the spirit.

Half way through episode 7. I died laughing when Scanlon and Pike were singing that song and dragging weak Grog along. Especially when they were pulling him away from that wolf that was clamped down on his crotch.

That was hillarious. I'm going to watch it again after tonight's livestream.

This episode is one of the ones I am looking forward to the most. (Episodes 51 (the end) and 52 of campaign one if you want to see the original later on YouTube. )

I really enjoyed that season. Now the wait for season 3. I've only watched the Amazon show. Is Critical Role on YouTube? I'm interested in watching it.

Yep, sure is. Some of it can be a little janky - the early campaign one streams obviously don't have nearly the polish as the later episodes in campaign 1 or any of campaign 2 or 3, and some of the episodes can drag a little bit, but there's a LOT of content there.

Haven't finished yet but Grogs return to form was amazing.

Amazing what you can do with the fantasy genre if you don't try to take yourself so seriously. This show is better than LOTR and WoT as a freaking cartoon.

Finished season 2 last night. I just love this show. Has all the gore and action of Netflix's Castlevania with silly and lovable characters of Parks and Rec. And it works so well. Great season. Can't wait for the third one.

I watched as campaign 1 was being streamed and I still got emotional over a few bits. I know there are changes and theyre having to put A LOT of stuff in a much shorter time span, so things move quick, but enjoying it so far.
