Created by Mike Flannigan (the two Haunting shows, Midnight Mass). Based on a Christopher Pike novel, seems more anthology than his past ones

Will watch anything Flanagan does.
My wife and I watched the first two episodes. It feels like the campiness in the stories is intentional (the acting doesn't match them in day-to-day). And of course feels like they're building up to something much more sinister outside of it.lawless89 said:
My wife and I thought episode 1 was super cheesy and had a lot of bad acting. Not sure if they're going for more of the humor horror approach, but I struggled to keep focused on the first episode.

Apparently Mike Flannigan signed a new deal with Amazon, so Netflix canceled the show.
What's kind of neat is that Flannigan wrote up a detailed outline of what they had planned for the next season and answered a few of the lingering questions. So if you're interested in getting closure, here ya go: https://www.tumblr.com/flanaganfilm/702543785726558208/the-midnight-club-season-two
