Created by Mike Flannigan (the two Haunting shows, Midnight Mass). Based on a Christopher Pike novel, seems more anthology than his past ones

Doesn't look great, but I do appreciate the use of The Toadies in the trailer

Will watch anything Flanagan does.

Disappointed that this isn't based on the PS2 Midnight Club video games.

Never knew how much I needed a Toadies song in a trailer until today.

And after Hill House and Midnight Mass (still need to watch Bly Manor), I'm in on Flanagan Netflix shows.

Can't remember which one of you turned me on to Oujia: Origin of Evil as worth watching. Love Flanagan's stuff but this would have never been on my radar due to the caliber of the original... Talk about one of the reviews I read summing it up perfectly with "Better than it has any right to be".

I never would have watched that movie and I found it thoroughly enjoyable.

Gerald's Game is also a great watch on Netflix.

But by far his best work is Doctor Sleep, for me. Such an underrated movie. The Shining is one of my all-time favorite movies and Doctor Sleep is a more than worthy sequel.

One episode in and got distracted by Dahmer. Still gotta get back to it.

Did episode 1. Definitely seems heavily skewed towards young adults, but will give it a few more episodes.

My wife and I thought episode 1 was super cheesy and had a lot of bad acting. Not sure if they're going for more of the humor horror approach, but I struggled to keep focused on the first episode.

Bumping. Anyone else watch this yet? It had a good RT score a while back.

My wife and I watched the first two episodes. It feels like the campiness in the stories is intentional (the acting doesn't match them in day-to-day). And of course feels like they're building up to something much more sinister outside of it.

Enjoyable enough, going to keep watching when there's not baseball or football on

Finished it last night.

It was fine, but it was very much a young adult type show. Goosebumps+. Wasn't scary at all, easy to follow premise, and story lines that got wrapped up so quickly you questioned if you completely missed something.

Obviously knew with the cast of kids this wasn't going to be super heavy, but Stranger Things had 10x the depth as this.
