Solid new horror movie by Scott Derrickson (Emily Rose and Sinister). Ethan Hawke knocks it out of the park as a psychopath. Worth going to watch.

Supernatural thriller. I think it's hard to even call it a horror movie. It's more along the lines of the Lovely Bones or Prisoners.

I agree with this. There were a few effective scares and Hawke is genuinely creepy. I enjoyed the movie quite a bit. Derrickson is a very effective horror director.

Good movie but as I've gotten older as a parent these types of movies stress me the F out. Definitely worth seeing though

Finally got to see this. Thought it was great! Hawke was great and freaky. Kid was really good too, as was his sister. Well worth seeing. Plus, there is a Dickey Bennett sighting.

Really fun movie. Didn't hit like I thought it would; it lacked the gore that you see so often right now and it forced you to imagine more which is always more effective.

Hawke was great.

This is more of a thriller than any horror flick. Very refreshing, very good.

Agree with this. Saw it yesterday and didn't have any expectations going into it. My son wanted to go and I've never been a big fan of horror movies (he described it as a a "horror flick".)
