Technically, there is one more new novella being released in March I believe bundled with the previous ones.

Yes, definitely interesting. A couple of them can even be seen as "origin" type stories around a specific character. Good reads, and definitely enhance and point to things in later books.

This is a tough question that probably depends on which format you like better. Would you rather be surprised by events in the books, or in the show?

If you want a little of both you could finish out the show and then restart the books since the books are now beyond where the show will (probably) ever get.

You really should read Strange Dogs before Tiamat's Wrath.

There is a big spoiler in this thread already so I think we should use tags or make this a spoiler thread. In either case, I'm out now.

I think if you click on a thread about the most recent Expanse book, spoilers from the previous books are fair game right?

Would Highly recommend the Churn and Auberon as it's the backstory for Amos and a continuation of the story for the kingpin Eric that you meet in Nemesis Games/Babylon's ashes.

Would also recommend Strange Dogs as it provides a lot of context for one of the factions Laconia and some of the characters you meet in Tiamat's Wrath.

So damn good so far. I swore I would savor this one, but just like the others I can't put it down.

So I finished it. All I can say is wow. What a way to end it.

Minor spoilers:

Agreed. It was a fantastic ending. Tanaka was a better character than I expected her to be. The way they contrasted her tendencies for denial and isolation with the mind takeovers was good.

The epilogue cracked me up! We don't need those jellyfish!

Finished it earlier today. I thought it was a great way to wrap things up. I don't read a ton of sci-fi but I thoroughly enjoyed the whole series.

I've been really skeptical that this thing was going to stick the landing because the story just seemed to get bigger and bigger but it absolutely did.

Someday they're going to have to make the last few books into a show, it's too good.

Finished earlier today, and it was awesome! Very well done!

I just finished the book and feel they did a good job of wrapping things up. I liked the ending and enjoyed the epilogue. It was also good to see Holden being Holden all the way through the series.

Just finished, and I'm shocked they wrapped up all 3 conflicts quite neatly. Also What did I say? The earth empire of PROTO-AMOS is forever, he achieved Duarte's dream, except his diplomacy is to lead with beer rather than weak Proto-superbattleships. Who wouldn't want to live in that Empire

finally finished! took my time and tried to savor it a chapter or two a day, but read the last third in one go. don't know how to use the spoiler tag, so i'll just say i was mostly satisfied with how they wrapped things up.

wish i had more detail on the mythology of the universe, but i understand the idea that fictional ideas can lost their potency when explained too much (a la starwars, the force, midichlorians, etc)
