Just a heads-up to check out these books! I've listened to the first three on audiobook (The Terminal List, True Believer, Savage Son) I just started The Devil's Hand this morning.

The first book is being developed into a series on Amazon Prime starring Christ Pratt.

The author, Jack Carr, is a former SEAL and brings that experience and detail into the writing.

Heard his interview on Rogan and then went through all 4 audio books within a few weeks. Really enjoyed them! I think Chris Pratt could do a good job with the role.

What's really impressive about Jack Carr is how quickly he's putting these books out. The first one was 2018. Hoping he keeps it up.

In his Rogan interview, the author said he is fully involved in the production.

I just recently stumbled upon this series and am on book 2 now. I'm having to reach out and find more authors as I'm caught up on a lot of the big dogs in the genre (Flynn, Thor, Cameron, Greaney, Silva etc.)

Some other authors I have found in the past year that are in the same style and also very good are

C.G. Cooper
Stephen England
Brian Andrews/Jeff WIlson
Jack Arbor
Jack Coughlin

I have to keep a spreadsheet on my phone to keep track of all of the series. Fun stuff though.

I found out about the series after the second one came out, then had to anxiously wait on 3, then 4, now 5

Read "Terminal List" because of this thread. Great book. Kept me engaged from beginning to end.

Thought "True Believer" would be the same. Nope, not even close. Read about 30% of the book and it's just a bunch of filler. I kept on hoping that maybe the next chapter would give me an idea of how the main plot would unfold and lay the groundwork to tie everything together. But it kept me waiting.

I lost patience and deleted the book from my Kindle.

Thanks for this- was wanting something to read in this genre. Taking a break from fantasy/sci-fi!
