On Friday night...We've both never been
Fiance bought seventh row in the middle...
Are these any good and what should I expect?
We are staying at the Holiday Inn nearby..is this within walking distance? Or should we find another means of transportation..
Thanks!

Saw george strait for the first time there this year...the rotating stage thing is a good idea, but nomatter where you are you are still pretty far from the stage...If you MUST see pat green, he'll be at the HOT complex in Waco next month for a concert...Not many bad seats there.

First off, the new statium is pretty well designed. I've sat in the noise bleed section and right up in front and there isn't really a bad seat. Second, the Houston Rodeo is one of the biggest rodeo if not the biggest, so the singer try their best to give a great show. I go every year and have never been disappointed with the shows. As far as travel goes, they do have buses running to and from the rodeo scattered through out Houston. If you go to the Houston Rodeo's website; http://www.hlsr.com/ and scroll down to where you can see general info, there will be a shuttle bus link that may help. But like I said, it should be a good show, at least I hope so, cause I'll be there too.

I hope it is a good show. I am not at all a fan of the Houston Rodeo. I have been several times bc the wife or friends keep dragging me to it. Cant say that I have ever really had a GREAT time at it. I feel as if it is a big Concert with a bunch of amusement rides and car salesman outside of it with lots of Teenagers and Houston City Youth running around(oh and there is a rodeo apparently going on too).

Oh well, bc I am going, I hope it is a good show.

Of course, it is always funny to me that people have this conversation....

Person A: "I went to the Rodeo!!"
Person B: "Cool, who did you see play?"

Is it a concert or a rodeo? And if no more performers came, would it fold? I have always felt as if the main event is the concert (which seems backwards.)
