Because I am pandemic bored, and yeah this one is a bit of a stretch...not simultaneous stuff like the end of ROTJ, but actual time sequential scenes.
I thought of this while watching Almost Famous (again).
There is the scene where William chases Penny's plane through the concourse, which is so pure. The next scene is the plane scene where they think they're going to crash. Those two scenes go a long way towards defining a great movie and are both done so well.
And yes I would put the destruction of the Death Star and the ceremony scene at the top, but they have that short segment in between.
