Since I have lots of extra time now that everything is shut down, I was listening to some of my music files. I was wonder what are the all time best movie songs. (I mean best as being the most recognizable.) My top ten are listed below. I know some of my favorites are older than some of you but I am old! :-)

In no particular order:

1. Batman
2. Superman
3. Conan the Barbarian
4. Goldfinger
5. Harry Potter
6. Raiders of the Lost Ark
7. Jaws
8. Lord of the Rings
9. Patton
10. Rocky
All organizations are perfectly aligned for the results they get.

I've always found the score for Batman Returns to be a superior score over the first. Same goes for the movie, itself.

So I actually have a pretty massive playlist of soundtracks that I listen to when I'm working, and a lot of the mentioned soundtracks are in there (and it's constantly evolving). I've got an Apple Music version too if anyone needs that.

I use the music that played in Infinity War right after Doctor Strange said to Hulk, "Who?" and the title shows on screen, as my alarm tone.

2009 Star Trek is one of my favorites of the last 10-15 years.

Off Infinity the "Help Arrives" track when Captain American Beard is revealed is as good as it gets for me for Marvel stuff.

Not necessarily the most memorable but I would make a strong case that the two most influential scores of the last decade or so are:

1.The Social Network - launched Reznor and Ross' movie and TV careers. You can hear it's influence all over the place.

2. Birdman - The amount of jazz drumming I've heard since that movie is sky high. It's like the go to for the chaotic scene in an indie... cue the jazz music!!!

In my mind, there is no equal to....

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.

I can't believe it hasn't been mentioned yet, but it's older, released the year I was born.

Here is a taste.
