The music business is buzzing about the possibility of a reunion tour, and people close to the band aren't denying it.

Now, a year before the 30th anniversary of their debut album, talk of a possible reunion is making the rounds in music circles

A person familiar with the matter declined to confirm a tour but said: "There might be something in the works."

Ha, me too! I had 3rd row tickets to this show at The Woodlands in July of 2000, but they cancelled due to Page's back problems. Apparently , that Gibson is really heavy and it took it's toll.

Really sucked.

In better news, I caught the Crowes on their last tour in Austin, in '13. Had a great time!

saw them April 2013 when they played the House of Blues in Houston. Easily one of the top shows I've ever seen Simply blew me away that night.

    The tour is happening, the question is the lineup. I'm not going to see a show without Gorman or Ford. If Gorman was back I would, and if Ford was back I probably would. But otherwise I'm not interested.

    Gorman has already said he won't be involved. Ford was playing with Rich in Magpie Salute so I'd say he's a maybe but I wouldn't count on it.

    Wasn't Gorman a few months late on the '05ish reunion? Forgot who drummed instead. The Robinson bros just dont want to pay anyone.

    A guy by the name of Bill Dobrow played drums for them briefly in 2005. I wouldn't expect any known names in this backing band. This is a money grab by the Robinson brothers. They're going to put people on the payroll and split the profits 50-50. It's disappointing but I'll still go. I love the tunes and you know they'll get some talented unknown players to fill out the lineup.

    I used to be a big Crowe's fan, and still enjoy and appreciate their music. That said, I don't know if I would go to see them on this tour. I've seen them once at The Woodlands, once in Dallas, and once at the Orpheum in Los Angeles. At The Woodlands show, Robert Randolph and the Family Band was the opening act, and in LA, it was the Drive By Truckers.
