How long do you want to ignore this user?

I searched and didn't see anything on this. It's on Amazon Prime. Just caught the first episode and it look intriguing so far.

I was looking really forward to it.

I'd certainly recommend. But I find it slow and too political.

Not for children. Lots of the c-word and tits, but only one great pair.
Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting.

Did you watch the whole season?

I'm through the first 2 episodes and while I'm not sure I'd call it slow, it's certainly no action flick. More like fantasy drama. Still enjoyable though but not something I can binge watch in 1-2 days.

Watched it all. It's definitely Fantasy Drama, which is a bizarre genre, but I like it.

Reminds me of Chinese immigrants to London during the Victorian Era. It's probably supposed sympathize with Somalians or Syrians. But whatever.

The last episode is good. But they either didn't have enough script for one season or they tried to stretch one season into two.

But there should be a season 2.

Saw the preview and really hoped it was based ton Glen Cook's Garrett PI series. Doesn't appear that it is but I'm going to give it a shot anyway.

You totally should watch it.

You might find it slow. For me I liked the main story line but found my attention drifting during some of the secondary stories that ultimately fed into the main plot - though one of those stories never actually connects with the main plot (at least this season).

But I think the fantasy element gives it a magical, "anything's possible" vibe.

They obviously wrote it for a season 2 and hopefully it's already been green lit. Otherwise on a production of this scale another season won't come out again until 2021.

I'm through episode four. Overall like it, a bit slow at times. I like fantasy stuff and it's got some pretty good graphics, special effects. Will watch the entire thing.

Finished it up yesterday. Really liked the whole season. Well worth the time.

Enjoyed it. Kind of reminds me of the expanse, with the interclass strife driving many of the characters motives.

Looks like season 2 is already in the works.

Me too. I felt it even got better in the last few episodes.

Watched the first two episodes Saturday night and will definitely keep going.

Very slow through 70% of the show but picked itself up towards the end.

Overall just okay to me, but I enjoy new worlds and settings so will watch next season.

Kind of like an older version of the world that Netflix had with their Bright movie but unfortunately Netflix has never expanded on that. Think the setting would have been great for a tv show with or without Will Smith.

I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Didn't think it was as slow as some of you thought. Each episode kept me interested, and it did a great job of building the universe without smacking me in the fact with cliche "here's what this is, here's what this is, etc".

Will definitely watch season 2.

On that note, I absolutely love this type of setting. I wish there were more shows about this general time period (even though this was fantasy, it's set in the Sherlock Holmes style time period of a London type place). It's also a great setting for a steampunk style show. Would love to see a show based on a story similar to the Dishonored video games series.

Likewise. I haven't started this, but that's the part that has me excited.

You're going to love it then.

I think the time period and setting is what kept it from being slow for me. I love it so much that I spent a lot of my time appreciating the intricacies of the background, wardrobes, and world building as much as the story and acting.

Finished this last night and enjoyed it. Good finish and some good twists. It is setup for a pretty action packed season 2.

Finished it yesterday. Enjoying it. Feel like it is kind of a mix of Penny Dreadful and Taboo. Penny Dreadful went downhill its last season, but I wish Taboo kept going. Wait, it looks like they will be releasing a season 2 this fall or 2020?

I was reading up on the Imogen actress and apparently she was cast as Daenarys in GOT but dropped out after shooting season 1 and they had to reshoot the scenes with Clarke. Talk about poor decisions wow haha.
