You can tell I love Batman, but also love the MCU movies.

The oldest CBM I've seen was Batman from 1989.

I never liked any of the Raimi Spider-Man movies, or any of the X-Men or Fantastic Four movies.

I tried to take out the added bonus movies get from being part of the MCU, because, if we are being honest, a lot of those movies get a boost just from being part of the universe and they seem better than they actually are.

I prefer Marvel characters over DC but Nolan's Batman series is the absolute gold standard of comic book movies. Logan is the only one that can crack the top 3, and is was so damn good I put it at 2.

I grew up watching those.

I haven't seen either, but will watch them on DC Universe this weekend (baby is being born this week).

Kevin Feige makes all new Marvel Studios employees watch Superman II in order to capture his vision of a superhero.

By the way, you should get DC Universe. The shows are awesome and it has everything except Arrowverse, Nolan's Batman, and the DCEU. They're about to add every single digital comic they own and already have every single animated show, regular show, and movie (outside of the mentioned above).

Doom Patrol is already the best comic book based tv series I've ever seen, and Titans was really good. I would put both above Netflix's Daredevil.

They're releasing Swamp Thing soon, Titans season 2 this fall, and Stargirl next spring.

Id probably feel differently if I saw them as a kid, but I watched them for the first time about 5 years ago and they seemed horribly outdated.

They're both outdated for sure, and the end of 1 is pretty ridiculous. But they're just such classic Americana to me. And that John Williams soundtrack is iconic.

II is my favorite of the two and the one I watched much more. I just love General Zod, campy as he is.

I really wanted to put Shazam at #10, but it's probably a bit of recency bias. It's battling it out for this list, though.

Also, I think Spider-Man 2 is the better movie, but 1 is the one that got me into that series. I was the perfect age for it, and I saw it in the theater about 7 times. Not exaggerating.

My top 3 haven't changed since Logan came out, but the others can fluctuate widely.

I am trying to recall what else is out there besides Hellboy and Watchman. There's a lot of obscure stuff like Scott Pilgrim, the Losers, maybe Snowpiercer (Chris Evans movies in general)....

Watchmen is DC. The Kitchen comes out this fall, and is part of Vertigo.

I forgot about Men in Black. If it's not my top 10, it's close.

Honorable Mention- Batman Returns- this is a strange one in that Batman Returns is a great Tim Burton film while also a terrible Batman film. I love it regardless.
