SNL, for once, was HILARIOUS last night.

John Mulaney and Bill Hader killed it. The political skits had some funny moments especially regarding Jussie Smollett and Cohen, but the non political skits were some of the funniest I've seen in years.

What's my name? And the opening monologue had me laughing out loud.

Toilet seat ejector, to have or have not, the bodega bathroom, and the "Scream" knockoff were also laugh out loud funny.

Didn't know they still had it in them. Links below.

Here are the political ones if you want to see some funny moments from bill hader.

That first one is great.

When he asked bill hader why he's doing all this and they zoomed in and after a long pause he was like....

"CHAOS"

I lost it.

Both Hader and Mulaney on and no Stefon?

The toilet seat ejector skit was hilarious, but like most SNL skits it went on too long.

I hate SNL in general, but they had it on at a party I was at. That was the only skit I actually saw.

Agree. I watch a couple of episodes per season these days, and I've never been one to laugh much at John Mulaney, but thought last night seemed pretty good.

Still tired of all the hate on Weekend Update though.

My vote for best is the monologue

The dying Jewish cat / siren bit had me laughing so hard.

It did look like they may have done the surprise cue card bit from Stefon for Hader during the What's That Name sketch a couple times though.

The "What's my name gameshow" sketch has been done before but with Keenan being the office janitor who's name no one can recall. Having seen that one a few years back, the Mulaney one didn't quite pack the punch for me that it did for y'all. You know what's coming and there's really no way to change up the joke.

Was the Bodega Bathroom one funny if you haven't lived/spent time in New York? I thought it was pretty good, but wondered about that one for those who aren't familiar with Bodegas. Same with the Cellino and Barnes jingle, but I guess every city has dumb lawyer commercial jingles.

I loved him talking about the sales pitch to convert from Judaism to Roman Catholicism..."but don't google us".

I think everyone in America is familiar with the contents and goings on in a bodega. Most of the rest of the country calls them convenience stores or gas stations or corner stores but the joke still transfers.

For real?

Do you think convenience stores are unique to NYC?

I love how I'm the one that's posted an easily digestible way to view these skits and I get one blue star.

Thanks guys. You're all a bunch of cockroaches in the bodega.

I only watched the first video; is there a way to give you 1/8 of a star?

You put Mulaney in it and I give it stars. Thats my policy.

I spent most of that sketch wondering, "what the hell is a bodega?".

The only thing to know is they'll publicly shame you if your check bounces.

Some of yall need to get out of the backwoods every now and then.

Or at least watch an episode of Law & Order.

Nah, just curious since it's such a specific subset of c-store. More so the other jokes rather than the nasty bathroom part, of course everyone gets that.

Imagine a convenience store but without gas pumps, and more of an Eastern European Soviet vibe.

Oh yeah, I'm familiar with them. That's a good way of describing them.

Wow. A parody of the 23 year old movie "Scream." How edgy and currently relevant.

I've been in stores like that in Manhattan (and Europe for that matter) but still didn't know that's what a "bodega" is.
