I guess I'm too young for this, or my parents were that good at restricting tv. But now I've seen Abed on "Community" reference it to Jeff; and them blast it in "The 90s". Is it bad enough that I need to watch it?

Steven Bochco created this.. he was high off the success of Hill Street Blues and LA Law and based on his photographs, was probably a huge fan of Broadway musicals. So he was able to get some Network Executive to sign on for this.

They covered Cop Rock in CNN's 1980's documentary (which is brilliant btw) and the creator still defends his creativity with it and has no regrets.

Also, how did they anyone with even a mild name to appear on the show? Was it a cardboard cutout of Anthony Hopkins?

The caveman show was better

Yes it was more believable than cops and juries breaking out into song and dance

I would literally watch a show about how I swallowed a quarter but crapped out 2 dimes and a nickel than cops doing ballet and singing a capella
