I was very skeptical when I clicked the video, but it sold me. I hope it's not too depressing. I hate to see my little 6 year old girl cry at the movie theater.

I remember the original very well (I'm 69). Lots of cruelty and sadness, as I recall.

Considering we didn't see Timothy the Mouse in the trailer, I think maybe Burton is avoiding using any "talking" animals in this version.

Our family loves these live action versions of Disney classics. Much more than the 6th reboot of spider man within the last 10 years.
