Any chance of this being any good? I kind of feel like a battered wife after the last one, and with Ford being as old as he is I just don't know if this is going to have a chance.

I feel like it can never be as good as the originals but there is a chance it could not be as bad as the new one.

It would be 30 years since TLC was released, and that was set in the late 1930s.

Perhaps they make this is the late 60s?

He's in his early 70s now.

Start with a cold open mirroring Raiders. Indy going through the jungle to find a beautiful pond. We see Ford's shadow take a drink and pan over to a new young actor in the Indy costume. He just discovered the fountain of youth.

I thought all those movies were great and I left off others because I was pointing out that he still makes really great movies (which you obviously disagree with).

would be cool if they kill him off in the same general way in each movie... by his son with some sort of futuristic spear in Bladerunner and some old indian tribe spear in Indy
