Caught one of the episodes a few weeks ago. Wow, they really lay out a compelling case that he was transported to Argentina and our govt went out of its way to conceal it. Fascinating stuff.

You should watch more. It's crazy how they tie together so much from Berlin, to Spain, to the Canary Islands, to Argentina. Eyewitnesses, all the tunnels and bunkers, homes and buildings in the middle of nowhere in Argentina with Nazi artifacts.

I am fascinated with World War II. I have a decent library of books on various aspects of the war, of characters like Bradley and Patton, as well as Adolf. Having said that, I've never found much interest in watching this show because the man put a bullet into his head while munching some cyanide in the bunker in Berlin and was subsequently burned in a shallow grave in a court yard that has since been turned into a parking lot. He's dead. He did not get out of Berlin. But I suppose the idea is a good one.

Is it a History Channel show? If it is they sometimes skew things a bit to fit the entertainment narrative. I.e..the Anglin Brothers and DB Cooper.

Many high ranking officials made it out. We know this. My junior high history teacher taught us about the German pockets in Sout America.

This last episode showed some pretty compelling reports that Hitler's right hand man made it out. We even held a war crimes trial for him. Chair was empty. That's how convinced we were that he was still alive.

Personally, point to all you want but one thing I find odd is that Hitler flew out his personal collection but stayed behind. He was all about his "stuff" so I find this intriguing...

So his top guys made it out & all his crap he was obsessed with, but he stayed? I see why folks think that doesn't pass the sniff test.

I also had no idea the DNA testing on the reported Hitler skull years ago revealed it was a woman.

The Russians were in straight up looter mode, I get that. Still a few odd things there.

That said, I do believe most of the trails the guys on the show are after are solid but are pointing at evidence of other high ranking officials. I think there's MAYBE a 5-10% chance he made it out. That's worth looking at IMO

I'm assuming you are referring to Martin Bormann. DNA testing verified the testimony of Artur Axmann of seeing what he assumed were the dead bodies of Bormann and Ludwig Stumpfegger, who all were part of a group that attempted to breakout of the Soviet encirclement of Berlin on May 2, 1945.

Yes, Bormann. Name escaped me when tired. They go over those remains had red clay on them, not found in Germany. The remains were also found on the 2nd dig attempt (years, maybe decades later IIRC) exactly where they were missed before. His bones were then dumped into the ocean. Just overall odd.

Didn't Hitler's bones wash up just down the beach from the mermaid's body that they found?

Shows like this are hilarious.
