In retrospect, boogie nights had one helluva cast before some of those guys really blew up.

Non retrospect, my favorite ensemble was probably The Departed. Effing awesome.

Blackhawk Down has the most "that guy!" cast of any film I've seen. I counted 19 actors I recognized from other things.

Examples: young Tom Hardy! Smalls from Sandlot! The bad guy from Kindergarten Cop! The guy who gets his tie pulled through the widow by Bullet Tooth Tony in Snatch! Jaime Lannister!

This isn't out yet, but I realized that the cast for Thor: Ragnarok could make an incredible 90s courtroom drama.

Chris Hemsworth as the young, talented defense attorney
Mark Ruffalo as the defendant
Thessa Thompson as the woman he's having an affair with, to complicate matters
Cate Blanchett as the judge
Tom Hiddleston as the ambitious prosecutor
Jeff Goldblum, Idris Elba and Anthony Jopkins as key witnesses and medical personnel
Karl Urban as the true criminal
Jamie Alexander as Mark Ruffalos wife, found dead under suspicious circumstances
