The song "Sweet Red Llano Wine". I have never been able to tell what he is saying when he says "I went to work, my brother to jail. For smuggling out......". Does anyone know what he is saying? There are no lyrics online for this song. I think it's something in Spanish but it's hard to tell. Thanks in advance.

I did listen to it a couple of times, he's definitely saying out past Porvenir. I googled a bit and found that El Porvenir is a Mexican town that has been plagued by drug cartel violence.

Interesting turn of phrase, "past Porvenir" as Porvenir means future in Spanish. So it's like he said "past future". Given that the song seems to be about the past and this line is about how everyone ended up, that might have been kind of interesting poetic license there. Or he thought it sounded cool.

Man I miss Paul Eason.

Wish he would leave Folwer and do his own thing again.

That's a name I haven't heard in about 14-15 years. Didn't know he was still making music.
