call me unpatriotic if you want, but i heard this terrible country song the other day by someone telling us not to forget 9/11 and saying something about bin laden.

it was just about the dumbest most retarded song ever. just because we're at war, that doesnt give people the right to write stupid songs. Lets stick with the Star Spangled Banner, America the Beautiful, and God Bless the USA (which no matter what anyone says is one bad a** song)

another one i heard had alan jackson saying "i dont know the difference between iraq and iran" well go back to school you retard if you dont know the difference. i used to like alan jackson when he was singing about girls on bar stools, and splasing his truck through creeks and stuff.

For the most part I agree Yummy, but there is one bad ass song by Clint Black that I really like...tho it doesn't actually mention the name "Bin Laden" or Saddam" but refers to our troops and our country.

The red head that works for you Yummy says that you need to listen to the whole song written by Alan Jackson before you start spouting off about the words you don't know the difference between Iraq and Iran. It has nothing to do with education level. (Yet she doesn't know how to set up a Texags account and has to use mine!!!!!)

Instead he wimped out and put in the hilbilly "Iraq & Iran" line, presumably to appeal to the "blue collar" types that are supposedly his target audience. Has anyone heard "Goodbye Osama," to the tune of the Dixie Chicks "goodbye earl." It is about the most embarassing song i have ever heard. A few of the houston country stations played it after 9/11.

Darryl Worley wrote the "bin laden" song after performing for the troops in Afghanistan and seeing first hand what they were going through. Alan Jackson's song won a ****load of awards and made a lot of $$$ that he donated to the Red Cross in NYC. These 2 guys, whether you like their songs or not, are doing much more to help our nation that sitting around spewing trash on an internet message board.
