First of all:

3 movies in and Bumblebee still can't talk? I'm pretty sure no reason was ever given other than "vocabulator still having problems," and seriously, they couldn't fix that? WTF

-What is up with 5 humans being able to evade Decipticons but ALL the Autobots are captured (off screen too). Man the Autobots suck. Meanwhile, Optimus Prime is dangling from a construction crane. Way to go uber hero.

-Does the "uh oh we are about to kill all the good guys" ploy really work in Hollywood? You're really about to kill Bumblebee? You're really about to kill Optimus? No one believes you, so why pretend?

-Decipticons shoot down human jet fighters with no problem as Sam and crew start to enter Chicago, but have problems taking out the slower, less manueverable transport air craft?

-Slow motion walking. I Fv*king hate it.

Yes, the Bee voice issues was stupid. He had no trouble speaking in the cartoon. The guy that voiced him in TF1 at the end did not want to do it in this movie. I guess Bay just said F it and did the radio thing. Pretty stupid and one of my big complaints.

I was surprised Iron Hide went down.

It pisses me off that there is SO little offscreen time for the bots. Way too much emphasis on people.

I literally laughed out loud when I saw Prime hanging upside down. We are supposed to believe that a ****ing giant, powerful, sentient being would get caught in a net? Weak.

I liked human conspirators. I thought Dempsey was pretty good.

Loved Buzz Aldrin and the whole Moon stuff. Thought it was geeky awesome.

The Jack Kennedy impersonator was embarrassing. Seriously.

Thought Malkovich, Ken Jeong and Alan Tudyk were all worthless. Utterly.

She's gotten a lot of **** but I thought Frances McDormand was pretty good too.

Hated Laserbeak. Loved Shockwave.

Yeah. The voice is just ****ing dumb. They can literally take apart one robot and use his parts to make Prime into an uber bot but THEY can't fix Bee's voice is insulting. That type of **** absolutely plagues this series.

Oh I almost forgot....

Optimus is getting his ass handed to him...and needs Megatron to intervene...who in turn gets completely owned by a one-armed Optimus.

So. Much. Sense.

Oh, and Carly convinces Megatron he needs to step in. Whatever. Should've been Starscream. Starscream would have told him to get involved so that Megatron actually gets defeated so he can take over the Dcepticons.

Ultimately, Starscream may be the most disappointing character for me overall.

This guy is nails. He got the part about how Sentinel dies a bit wrong, but probably b/c he was half-blacked out by that point in the movie

Can't the autobots "heal" anyway? I remember one of the scientists saying something about that when they tied down the scorpion's severed tail in the first one.

I believe they stated in the first one that they had a special voice modulator special ordered from Cybertron. Of course, now that's impossible with it getting destroyed. Poor Bee.

Leonard Nimoy as Sentinel Prime was a cool tribute to the cartoon movie. He was the voice of Galvatron in that one. Also, anyone else recognize the Star Trek quote in the final battle? "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few..."

I appreciate little jokes/items like that in movies...

They explained that in the movie. Sentinel says they made the deal and both set out for earth. However, he also says, they both met the same fate (Megatron getting frozen and Sentinel crashing on the moon). They didn't fly across the galaxy in 1961, that's just when Sentinel was found and Megatron was found in the 50's in Antarctica.

Bay continues to show no interest/ability in putting together a decent story or giving screentime to the Transformers.

I knew it was sh-t the moment in the commercial when the lady tells Shia "you'll do time for treason." Um, the Constitution is clear on the punishment for treason and it doesnt include 3 meals a day.

Sentinel basically did fly across the galaxy in 1961. NASA scientists tracked The Ark, in real-time, as it crashed on the moon. I guess you could argue that The Ark took hundreds/thousands of years to travel from Cybertron to Earth, but that doesn't make much sense either, considering Megatron crash landed on Earth hundreds/thousands of years earlier. If they made a deal together on Cybrtron, then left at relatively the same time (even if it was years apart), they should have arrived on Earth at relatively the same time. Any way you slice it, Megatron HAD to have left hundreds/thousands of years before Sentinel did. Especially considering that Megatron, after leaving Cybertron, apparently scoured the universe looking for the Allspark before finding it on Earth, and who knows how long that took. There's absolutely no way to make sense of it.

Not to mention, they couldn't even get the timeline right in the first Transformers. Referring to his ancestor who originally found Megatron in the ice, at three sperate points in that movie, Sam refers to him as his "grandfather," "great grandfather," and "great great grandfather." It really is astonishing how horribly inconsistent the series is, even from the beginning.

My favorite story about the production of these movies is when Michael Bay approached Glenn Morshower to be cast for the 2nd movie, Morshower had to remind Bay that his character had been killed in the first movie. Of course, Bay just decided to change his character's name and bring him back anyways.

Oh, and about TF3, why would all of the decepticons begin slaughtering all of the humans that they were going to enslave to rebuild Cybertron? Just for shiggles?

Anyone see the Constructions (originals) in the background scenes once the bridge was set that pulled the decepticon army to earth? Got a quick glance twice at him (Devastator) in the background tearing sheet up! This was the original 80s version and not the *******ized revenge of the fallen one below:

Not to mention Patrick Dempsey and his dad were accountants for the ****ing decepticons. Seriously, where the **** did that come from? That is the most ridiculous thing I may have ever heard in film history.

I think I understand where Bay was coming from with the story, but I do not like how he did it. As to the ark/megatron time difference, that has to do with the megatron being in a powered space craft and the ark basically floating here after reaching escape velocity from cybertron. That part really does make sense to me. The decepticons making the humans be their accountants was retarded in this continuity. IF the other movies would not have happened, then this would be fine, but as is, the other decepticons did not know that megatron would get unfrozen nor did they probably know about the alliance between him and sentinel prime. My reasoning for that is that someone shot him down on cybertron, so it wasn't common knowledge that sentinel prime should be allowed to escape.

In TF2, the forest scene was full frame, and it was awesome.

I thought I read that the skydiving scene was supposed to be shot in IMAX. i guess not

Putting aside the sheer humor about people complaining about a kids movie based on a cartoon as not being true enough to the "real" story or not making sense...

Finally saw this last night in 3D. It was enjoyable but I actually liked it the least of the 3.

- I wish Megan Fox was in it. I am not even a fan of hers but it kind of threw me to have the new chick. I mean the only explanation we get is that Megan Fox dumped him? You couldn't explain more than that? Also Megan Fox reminds me of Angelina Jolie in that she has a trashy quality to her, so you could kind of believe her being with Sam. Then he moves on to a smoking hot victoria secret model? They didn't seem to belong together as much.

- Also, he has no job? Seriously? I find it hard to believe he would go jobless after all he did.

- And the JFK part was weird. Parts were obviously his face CGI'ed into the shot, but then they would cut to another shot with a real actor who frankly didn't look all that much like JFK. I mean do one of the other people, not both!

The 3D was awesome but there were too many "let's slow this down so you can see just how awesome it looks in 3D" moments.

Entertaining for sure, but the start just started off with a few too many hiccups for the movie to really suck me in.

I would rank them just as they came out. From best to worst, 1, 2, then 3.

In addition to the complaints mentioned above, Sam's character has gotten whiny to the point of hatred for me. Would it hurt the movie to have him just trying to find a job without moaning about how unfair life is the whole time?

Would have also been nice if he actually had a decent interview instead of looking like a giant moron.

I thought the movie was pretty good and this is coming from transformers generation 1 kid. I will agree with the bumblebee still unable to talk opinion and i wish the autobots and decepticons had more personality like the original cartoon.
