The nicer Dillon High is really Plugerville. I'm talking about the ghetto East-Dillon campus.

My wife and I used to live down the street from Pflugerville High School. If they wanted to pick a location that accurately represented the gloom and hopelessness of a barren West Texas town in a more film-friendly location, they chose wisely.

dilon high isnt filmed at pflugerville high school. the classroom stuff is at reagan high, i believe. the football game scenes and football uniforms for dillon high are PHS, though.
i'm not sure what they are using for east dilon's crappy field. even the AISD stadiums arent that run down.

I always thought Dillon was a smaller town until they came up with this split the school district plotline. Plus I originally thought it was based somewhere around Austin. Is it now supposed to be more like an Odessa, like in the movie with the same name?

The football field used for original Dillon High is the old Del Valle field by the airport.

The West Dillon field is a set of bleachers on the other side of that field.
