This is actually a fairly decent quality version, considering it was taken with a camcorder in a theater. And from what little taste we get here, my jaw is seriously on the floor. I've never been a big Trek guy, but this looks pretty amazing. Get it while it's hot, as imagine this link will be down shortly. I'll post a link to the HD version when it's officially released online Monday morning. Star Trek hits theaters May 8, 2009...

I have to admit I was pretty impressed. That looked pretty cool. However the question I still have is I hope they address why someone that young would be the Captain of the Enterprise which is supposedly the flagship of the fleet. Just seems to be odd and it looks like it's a bunch of young 20 year-old's in charge of the ship.

But I will still see this movie.

None of those projects (for which they were/are writers on) get you excited for what Kurtzman and Orci can possibly do with Trek? I know some people hate Transformers, but at the very least it was an extremely entertaining movie. And look what they did on M:I III with J.J.'s guiding hand. Not only is he guiding this one as well, but the entire producing team behind Lost has been overseeing the process from day one. I trust everyone involved to get this thing where it needs to be.

At the very least, it sucked ass. MI3 was slightly better than MI2. Just like getting kicked in the shin is slightly better than getting kicked in the crotch.
