It should be interesting to see what kind of success the show has this year now that Tina Fey is such a hot commodity. I think the delay in premiering the show may have hurt them a little bit (strike while the iron is hot- it can only cool from here), and its a shame this geniusness was sitting on the bench while complete garbage like Kath & Kim makes it on the air. SNL specials have actually been outperforming The Office on Thursday nights, so hopefully 30 Rock can finally keep some of that rolling and get of the list of shows in danger.

Well that and the fact that Two and a Half Men is the #1 comedy.

I call a buddy of mine with regularity and tell their receptionist that my name is Tracy Jordan. I've been doing this for about a year and a half now and he laughs to this day when she puts the call through to him.

Just starting it now, but did you all notice the alarming number of people in the opening scene that are pointing and taking pictures of Tiny and Alec? Where are the production assistants to bust peoples balls?

When GOB (I mean Devon) is climbing up that rock in Central Park, you can see some people peering over the hill watching the taping.

you know, technically, in the show they are somewhat famous (head writer of the show, head of GE), so maybe people would be recognizing them.



anyway, that episode was absolutely awesome.

I think 30 rock has officially surpassed the office as my favorite show.

its amazing how under the radar this show flies with the internet tough guy crowd. pure brilliance.

i might put my wife in some dora undies tonight.

The show finally got some ratings traction and had more viewers this week than Heroes (the two debuted the same year and Heroes was once getting 2.5 times the viewers 30 was).

First sign in a while the world is getting a little bit smarter...

I love this show.

Great episode. I have not laughed at anything in awhile as hard as I laughed at Tracy dressed as a white woman with a dinosaur claw on his hand "because they ran out of makeup because he insisted they put it on his ass." The Oprah cameo was ultimately well done, it had the potential to be a bust, but the twist on it made it all good. Fake Olympic events was great too, if a little untimely.

Jennifer Aniston is on next week.

tracy dressed as a white woman was pretty much awesome.

I thought the sleeping pills/Oprah encounter being a dream was a little contrived, but still a great episode.

Moments I laughed out loud:
- Jenna appearing in black face and singing
- Alec Baldwin's "The time I thought I sat next to M. Night Shalaman" line
- Jenna and Tracy holding hands and singing at the end

Love this show!

Wow, I thought this show was supposed to be funny so I watched it last night for the first time.....

Solid ratings again this week. Sarah Palin and Oprah may have given this show a solid shot of keeping a big enough audience to get a few more seasons.

I never watched until this season. First episode was so-so, last night's was freaking hilarious. Aside from the liberal retardedness, it's my kind of humor. Loved it.

Good episode. For some reason, the big guest star thing is working. I would have thought it would be annoying, but Oprah/Jen fit well.
