Too much sugar is also a diuretic. There's only so much your body can handle before it spills over into your urine, and per osmosis, it pulls more water with it.

Hence why diabetics pee so much.

Sweet tea does the same thing to me....gotta limit myself to one drink at Chick-fil-A or it's a long trip back to work after lunch.

I honestly wouldn't recommend drinking sweet tea very often just from the simple basis of all that sugar isn't good for your pancreas either. Trust me, you don't want the diabetes special if you can seriously avoid it.

the voices in my head tell me that too, but all the studying I've done over the past 5 years tells me to drink more water and give my body a break.
