I would have to say that you are asking a black and white question that gets a gray answer.
You have to remember that A&M Galveston was formed because A&M wanted to be a land, sea, and space grant college. But even Aggies would have a hard time making an Aggie joke about putting a 500+ foot training ship in College Station. So they started it down in Galveston for Marine Engineering & Marine Biology. At first you would spend 2 years in College Station w/ the corp, sailing each summer, then you would spend your last two years in Galveston taking your higher level engineering courses.
This got a little tougher with logistics, so with campus growth, they changed it to the full 4 years in Galveston.
There are two things you have to remember when asking that question:
-The corp in Galveston is nothing like the Corp in College Station. Galveston's Corp is for people who want to go sail commercially for a living. College Station's Corp is for people who want to serve in the military (for the most part). So because of that single difference, the discipline disparity between the two is huge. You won't see many 350lb guys nicknamed 'Bubbles' who are in the military, but I know of at least one who is a Chief Engineer. Galveston's corp doesn't pretend to be the extension of the College Station corp, they know they are different with different goals (except for the small ROTC Contingent in Galveston).
-I've met some 2%ers from College Station, and some from Galveston. Maybe your percentage is a little higher in Galveston, but I have also met many Aggies from Galveston who bleed as much maroon as the next Aggie.
Another joke I use to help explain the difference is that you don't walk on the grass in College Station for respect near the MSC. In Galveston, you don't walk in the grass because you don't want to piss off the mosquitoes.
I am an Aggie, and would take offense at anyone who said otherwise. I didn't miss any games during my 4 years in Galveston, and made it to midnight yell, silver taps, first yell, and dunked my ring in 24 seconds. I greet everyone with a Howdy, and am damn proud of my ring and my diploma.

PS: In response to AggieJen06's story, don't let one ahole make you think less of a group. No matter how much we would all like to think so, there are some people going to A&M (either campus) who reflect poorly on anything they represent.
