generally, some form of ID and your insurance card are all that's necessary. maybe some cash or a check.

Wow, when I was a student, you didn't need insurance or had to pay for anything other than prescriptions at the Quack Shack.

It was very good for me because I broke 8 to 10 fingers during my college career.

Cheer can probably tell you more about insurance, I honestly have no idea. As a student without insurance, I got them last year (a couple shots on ribs, chest) after a bike crash. As Hotard mentioned, it was about $40.

I honestly couldn't since I don't work at Beutel and haven't been since freshman year. I went twice, once for laryngitis and once for a migraine. I was prescribed the same thing both times: Allegra and methylprednisolone. I'm just guessing at what he needs since I have been to multiple doctors and they all want the same thing: ID, insurance card, and money.

Edit: I say this only because I actually heard a lab tech tell a guy he needed a pregnancy test before an x-ray. I think he might have been joking... But with Beutal, you never know.

CJS, you know how expensive it is? most people can't afford it on a student's part-time wages. even the student health insurance can be expensive when you're trying to pay rent, utilities, gas, groceries, etc.

I understand... but everyone should at least carry accidental insurance that would pay medical bills in case of a serious injury/illness.
