For some reason the date 1776 comes to my mind. As in good riddance to bad garbage.

My interest in the Queen of England is what it would be for the leader of any free nation, except for the fact that she doesn't really lead. That's why they have the Prime Minister. The Queen is a ceremonial ornament, sort of like being the president of the National Chamber of Commerce.

But I am interested in this new movie THE QUEEN, about how Tony Blair deals with the Queen's refusal to make a public display of mourning Diana. Perfect example of how out of touch the royals are.
