just map it to figure out distance and figure an avg speed of 60 mph...always works for me...factors in traffic, times when you can go faster, and any detours or pit stops

I guess I COULD do the math but it seemed much easier to ask others. Yahoo Maps tried to tell me it was a 7 1/2 hour trip but I know they are always way off. I think they told me that it was like 5 hours from Houston to Austin one time. I'll do the calculations based on 60 mph, but has anyone ever driven it and could give me a reasonably accurate time? Even just to Denver. I done the Denver to Boulder drive a bunch. Oh, and for 2 people, the total difference in the roundtrip flights is like $400.

It may be further than you think. It usually takes us 3 to 3.5 hours from Raton to Denver. It's about 2.5 to 3 hours from Albuquerque to Raton.
