In the standard 10" pull-up (non lace-up), non-steel toe boot.

I have had several pairs of Red Wings and they were good boots. I have also heard good things about the Wolverines.

What does everybody else think?

I've been disappointed with my last 3 pairs of red wings so I'd say anything but them

Red Wings any day.

My Wolverines sucked ass, but my Red Wings are great.

I'm in the Red Wing camp, but both (pull up and lace up) have steel toes so I can't vouch for your specific boot request.

Going to a proper Red Wing store and getting fitted makes a world of difference.

I have a pair of red wings, there were given to me by a company i worked for because leather boots were required at the refinery. They are the lace up. I dont remember how much they cost, but they were very pricey. And they are no where near as comfortable as my Justin work boots, which are about half the price.

Red wing is like nike i think, you are paying for the name, cause the quality is certainly not there. So my vote is for NOT the redwings.
