I can think of worse things. I had a miscarriage 2.5 months ago. I'd give up alcohol to be pregnant any day.

she is being selfish, she should have thought about all of this before getting pregnant. She needs to focus more on her kids future than alcohol.

I have a friend who didn't breast feed b/c she "likes her beer too much" -- geez - sacrifice a little for your kid....

I gave up caffeine and alcohol during my wife's first pregnancy as a show of support. It was the worst nine months of my life.

What?? You can't have caffiene when you're pregnant either? That'd be too much for me, actually way worse than giving up alcohol.

It's supposed to be safe in moderation, but my she gave it up anyway.

I really don't get people complaining about not being able to drink while you're pregnant. If this is your first you're about to realize there are ALL SORTS of things you aren't going to be able to do for a while after the baby comes. Just suck it up - you decided to have a baby- it's worth it.

And before some pregnant chick tries to tell me I don't know what I'm talking about, I'm pregnant too...with my second child. So I've got a pretty good idea.
