WHY does everyone say "Fronce" this time of year?! We live in America. It's "FrANce", with an A! Don't know why, but this pisses me off! Unless you are French, please say "FrANce!" This bothers me more than when Hispanic news reporters only speak with an accent when saying their name: "Reporting live from downtown Houston, this is Huan Marrrteenezz."

I disagree with the Tour de France but totally agree with the spanish reporters.

It's the name of the event. You can say Tour of France, or Tour de 'Fronce.' Tour de France is just retarded. Do you pronounce tortilla without a 'y' sound? Do you leave the ñ off a Jalapeño?

Bob Roll pronounces is Tour Day France and he is a former competitor in it.

Bob: Lance, how are you feeling now that you've won the 2004 Tour DAY frANce?

Lance: Well Bob, I'm going to come back and do it again next year.

I always liked Greg LeMond because he won the event three times and has always pronounced it Tour de FrANce. That's from an American with a French name.

I agree, I cannot watch it. Lance Armstrong, who???

Gotta love Bob Roll!

I like Armstrong enough, but the past few years he has really picked up a few frenchie mannerisms. For example, before answering a question he starts with this strange "EHHHHH" noise. It is like the American "uh", but extended and thus more annoying.

LeMond learned French, bought a home there and did his interviews in French.

Speaking of kings, the French people are really people desperate for someone to rule them with an iron fist. Let's face it, the French haven't amounted to anything since they were ruled by Emperor Napoleon.

the tour de fronce and tour de france are the same thing?

Hate the tour very boring. I lump in with soccor, hockey and golf. Well hockey is not as bad since there are some good fights every once in awhile. But IMO these are all dull sports.
