No, but half of the ones I have met here in Corpus are Longhorn bandwagoners. The other half just say they went to "A&M" and you have to pry deeper to realize they're not an Aggie, but merely a damned Islander!

sure did, Islander class of '00. was there for 2 years after 2 years at A&M College Station. I always wear my Islander ring, I have my diploma in my office, and I have TAMU-CC stickers on my car. I also have my Aggie stuff in my office, apt, and on my car. I love and support both schools.

I know a guy who graduated from A&M-Commerce and he tells everyone he's an Aggie..... I've told him more than once that he is NOT an Aggie......

yes it is different. In 2000 TAMU-CC started their own 'official' ring. There is no way to get an aTm ring unless you go to A&M CS or A&M G. Or apparently you can buy one off e-bay from some chode who is selling theirs.

The rings are now made by Balfour, though the pics still says Art Carved. TAMU-CC is small and failry new and trying to find it's identity.

Mrs. Fool here. Trust me: Anyone who "gradudated" from TAMU-Commerce is NOT an Aggie. They are a yellow and blue LION. When East Texas State University was in the process of changing to TAMU-C, they were all having spells over, "Do we have to change our identity to AGGIES? Can we keep our colors and mascot?" Nope. TAMU-C does not constitute "Aggie."

I agree. Just because someone went to an A&M system school doesn't make them an Aggie. Only those who went to A&M CS and maybe A&M G (I don't know anyone from there so I can't say for sure) are Aggies.

Yep, TAMUG students are Aggies and the rings are the same.

They even have the Corps of Cadets.

I went to A&M CC from 96-98, then graduated from CS in 01. Had alot of fun in Corpus. Good fishing and watersports. I miss the huge bonfire parties on the beach.

My wife graduated from TAMUCC, and she doesn't claim to be an Aggie. Hell, she doesn't even claim to be an Islander.
