Why do Chi Omega's have to wear all white for initiation (including underwear)? Any help would be appreciated.

They're trying to establish their own traditions. Why the Aggie traditions aren't good enough for some is beyond me. If you ask me, them and those like them should go to school somewhere else.

It's just one of those things. Kinda like how frats have their pledges wear certain color ties on mondays. Or how some corps fish have to tuck in their shirts and wear belts when wearing civilian clothes.

no, rshall, you are highly incorrect.... I know, I know.. to each his own opinion, but I would venture to say that 75% of sirority girls are at least cute, if not good lookin or smokin hot. And AS A WHOLE (note I didn't say individually) they are better looking than the general Aggie girl that isn't in a sirority.

Alpha Chi Omega's do too. My roommate freshman year was one, and had to go buy all white stuff for their ceremony, which was fall/winter. She had a tough time finding an appropriate white dress.

Most sororities do, I really don't know why. It is just part of their ritual.

the reason they are all so hot is because they have daddy's money to help them get that way. I know a couple of sorority girls that had boob jobs after high school graduation.

But yes they do were all white and they have a ceremony that they aren't suppose to tell anyone about. Nothing bad though because another school's Chi Omega's got in trouble for a coffin ceremony.

Most sorority girls at A&M are fat ass cows. There are certainly some hotties, but heiffers are the general rule.

I was a Chi-O, and first of all, their traditions are older than a&m's so i wouldnt go with that line of reasoning.

I didn't even like being in it, but thats just stupid.

I got out after 2 years, but the whole white thing is really not all that important.

Do Chi-Os still wear bandanas?

So, you hate any group where people can just quit? People quit the Corps, people quit the FTAB, people quit the football team, pre-1999 some people only worked on Bonfire their first year or two.

Look, there are some sorority girls that are really good looking. In all likelihood, the percentage is even higher than that of the general run of the mill population. Hell, it may even be fair to say that 1/4 of all sorority girls are good looking. But it is not a majority thing. At the same time, beauty is in the eye of the beholder - I guess if you have really low standards, the vast majority of them could be hot.

All these stupid initiation ceremonies and secret handshakes sounds a lot like what a bunch of 8-year olds would do for their treehouse baseball card club.

I blame frats. And sororities.

Yes, the "traditions" of most frats and sororities are older than A&M- but at OTHER schools (mostly in the Northeast).
