What makes me sick is that the girl is not liable at all.

And really...why would this be illegal? Abortion is abortion and the girl didn't want the baby...they just chose a neanderthal method of ridding themselves of the baby.

What if she beat herself with a mini baseball bat?

If it is not illegal for her to willingly abort the fetus and she wanted to induce an abortion why is anyone being charges with anything?

No more Neanderthal that taking a fetus apart, piece by piece, and throwing it away in the trash....which is what they do in real abortions. I don't see how this is that much different, other than death comes sooner for the fetus using the conventional method, but it is tenfold more grisly.

The only legally-consistent thing to charge him with is practicing "medicine" without a license.

Sounds like a simple case of practicing medicine without a license to me.

Well pick another law then!! The girl is as much if not MORE at fault than the boy! I'm sure he didnt say.."hey baby, let me practice my swing on your belly"

Oh man that reminds me of a situation that happened to me when I was a kid:

My brother and I were at a professional baseball game(St. Louis) sitting near the first base line/duggout. The batter SMASHES a ball and it is coming right towards my head. I'm not paying attention and right befor the ball kills me my older brother pulls me out of the way. The ball grazed me and hit a pregnant woman right in the stomach that was sitting one row back from be. She wailed and screamed and they took he off on a stretcher. That is TWO baseball accidents against pregnant women - not that uncommon I guess.

They should cut this boy's pee pee off (so he can't have anymore unwanted fetuses), and THEN beat him daily with a baseball bat with nails in it.

This is just sick.

They should beat the girl too.
