Beautiful, sunny fall day here in Waffle House country. Favorites won yesterday: Ags, Utes (by the skin of their teeth) and Tarleton State Texans all avoided the upset virus.
Critters fed, coffee made and church is the next thing, then lunch and ZZzzzzzzz. (to paraphrase Orbital Welder)

Have you tried using bait?

I've honestly not had luck the two times that I've fished in Colorado (both times in a mountain reservoir). While in Texas and Louisiana, I caught any number of fish. Obviously I should have been doing something different in Colorado, but both experiences were before the Internet (summers 1985 and 1990).

Softball weather was glorious.

Got $121 worth of Hershey candy for Halloween for only $31. I half expected HEB to cancel the order but they didn't. I tried to do the deal for my mom but think they wised up/fixed the error.

Took a nappy nap.

Sitting on my mommas back porch with Shadow enjoying this weather. Except there are mosquitos!
