Dropped my wife off at Ground Shuttle as she and one of her coworkers are attending a conference in Vermont this week. Now I'm waiting for the Costco gas to open so I can put gas in the car before going back home.

Damn, it's early to be up on a weekend; still so dark. It's so nice and cool outside!!!

Game at noon.

After that, who knows. It's just the dog and me after that for rest of the week until Thursday evening. He's not going to be happy as my wife is his human. I'm just his servant.

Rain, cool weather. Work.

Up too early for a Saturday but I went to bed before 11pm so it's alright

Need to get busy today. Won't be watching any football

Had a dream about a high school classmate that I barely knew. Saw her and her husband at our 40th reunion earlier this year. Kind of odd because up to that point I don't think I had encountered her in 40 years or thought about her. Very nice person but just random she showed up in a dream

Have to get some exercise this weekend, hopefully from yard chores

• Wow the Sat thread is early! I half figured I would be starting it.
• Slept decent, awake at 6:30.
• Up and about to start working. Crisp Diet Coke in hand.
• Watch Game Day at 8 while working.
• Head to Cypress around noon today for kiddos 2 softball games.
• Listen/watch Aggie Football, and all the other footballs too.

It feels AMAZING outside. Woohoo.

52 degrees with a cold breeze blowing out of the north off the Appalachians here in west Georgia/east Alabama. Temps only in the low 60s today.
This really makes me want to head to Mexico for a little vacation.

Got to watch my doggy run a 100 yard sprint while chasing a lure and holy crap that's fun! I wish there were photos or a video, but I was too busy catching her. She hasn't really figured out that she's chasing the lure yet but instead is running to her mama

I'm pretty sure she had a UTI too Won't be back to the vet until Monday so a couple more nights of going outside at 12 AN, 2:30 AM, 5:30 AM in my future.

Lest we forget how stupid fashion was in the 1960s:

• Went to bed at 3:30 AM due to prepping my teaching demo
• Up at 6:00 AM to drive out to the cabin
• Teaching demo at 11:00
• Dreadful 3-hour quarterly campground meeting starting at 1:00 PM
• I am le tired

After tomorrow, I might have to try some new fishing spots. This elk hunting business is pretty tough.

My wife and I are in Santiago, Mexico...which is about 20 minutes from the outskirts of Monterrey. We're staying on the campus of a boy's home that's celebrating their 70th anniversary tomorrow. Lots of fun. Food is amazing and the Fellowship even better.

Met an 8 year old boy this afternoon who was just dropped off at the home last week. They handed him a clean pair of socks and he had no idea what they were or their purpose. It's crazy how much I take for granted...and for that reason I'm glad we're here.

But it was cold this morning! 41 degrees with wind and rain. Thankfully, the rain stopped, the sun came out and the high was 65 degrees.
