Truth be told, I've had both our games pulled up on television but didn't really watch either one. It's harder for me to watch hired mercenaries in Texas A&M gear for some reason than it is to watch the hired mercenaries of other schools. That is, I'll watch Mississippi State at South Carolina on Saturday and won't really care that neither schools' players give a rat's ass about that school. It still bothers me for our team though.

EDIT - Obvious exception for the 12th Man Kickoff Team.

Eh, they've always been hired mercs. The money's just out in the open now. We can flop our big ol maroon dong out on the table now instead of hiding it in gold trans ams.

Watching games is far more enjoyable than going through the Zoo during or after them, though.

I've always enjoyed going to Kyle Field and watching A&M football. What the sport has become, though, has led to me to follow only A&M. I don't watch much otherwise, although I do enjoy falling asleep to the late night Saturday game. lol.

Lol it's not just one game. They've wanted the AD gone for a while now due to his mismanagement of NIL and the failures within the football program for several years. The Utah game was just a cherry on top.

It's not that the marketing director is a Utah grad, it's fine for him to root for them on his own time. It's celebrating their win over his employer publicly on social media (when you're supposed to be MARKETING Arkansas athletics) that rubs fans the wrong way. It's like if you work for Pepsi and are posting about how much you love coke.

Busy day

Wife is out of town. She took a shuttle to IAH yesterday. As soon as they got to Terminal A some lowlife in a white SUV hit them in the side near the driver's door. No injuries but the shuttle wasn't drivable. The SUV took off of course. Either no insurance or illegal or open warrants or something.

People that were going to get dropped at other terminals had to take the tram. And whoever planned to ride back on that shuttle for the return trip was going to be disappointed.

Lots of meetings today but they were all good. Well, almost all.

Played guitar for a bit before going to dinner.

The boy might come visit this weekend.

To be fair to the Zoo, IIRC we did get blown out by Utah in 2004 and I don't recall anyone trying to organize a mass boycott of Kyle Field.

Although if it would've gotten Fran fired faster it wouldn't have been a bad idea.
