I'm team guy here. Be respectful of other's time. Had she texted earlier to let him know she was running late, but she seems inconsiderate.

In her defense, 15 minutes isn't crazy late for NYC. The guy's texts also invite drama. You're already at the table, why not wait and see how she reacts in-person, then decide whether you're still interested?

In his defense, she should've at least been in the car by 7:15 for a 7:15 date. An apology for being late feels 100% appropriate.

IMO they both could've done better. It's also clearly not a match, so at least they figured that part out

The fact that she didn't text by 7:15 apologizing for being late with an ETA would be a dealbreaker for me.

Not enough information. Did she tell him she was running late and it would be 7:30 instead of 7:15? If so, then he's just an idiot. If not, then she's a dumb *****

I have a long-running habit of being 15 minutes early. My wife has a long-running habit of being 15 minutes late. Put us together, and we're just about right on time.

As for the situation in the OP, both of them could start with just being a decent person and see if the relational magic happens.

At 7:22 she's not yet on an Uber. In NYC, she's probably there more like 7:45 or later, not 7:30. That's a significantly inconsiderate amount of late with no warning. The guy is fine - there's no way I'd wait and may as well dunk on her a lesson in timeliness. Unless she was super ****ing hot

I don't think he was rude / harsh at all. I give people the benefit of the doubt when texting because it's difficult to read tone - and because it means less drama. I read his text as a reiteration of the agreed upon terms and an expression of how he likes to be treated (with an apology or using the word please). We would all benefit from frank expressions, IMO.
