It went pretty quickly. They were very professional, only took a few minutes.
Then they said, "There, all done. The doctor will be with you shortly."

I had to go see a female doctor for my annual check up. I told my wife afterwards it was kind of weird having a woman do that.
"So a guy doing it is better?" she asked. Well, no I guess not.

Mine was as a medical student learning on a "proctored" or standardized patient. The man, who was paid handsomely to let 100 medical students or so practice on him, was clearly very educated about this particular procedure.
He came with a textbook.
As we were "examining him," he would say things like, "Ok, yeah, we're clearly on page 20 now, if you'll pay attention this is what your feeling.. ooops, we've gone to far up, we're on page 25 now, back down, there you go, we're you'll see this on page 21 here, good sport!"

Had a female PA with a great sense of humor years ago. I told her after the exam that in some states we'd have to get married. Around that time I had a "wellness exam" with a stress test and all the wires/sticky pads. When we were done, I told her I'd pay extra for the nurses to tug on them a minute before removing them. She was laughing so hard I thought I'd have to get her off the floor.

I went in for yearly physical. He wanted to check mine but I told him I had a breakfast taco before my appointment. I simply told him, "You may not want to crack that seal, let's hold off until next time."

A few years ago I was a standardize patient for UT medical school and was offered $50 a hour to be that patient. I turned it down.
I cannot believe no one has buzz killed this thread yet.
Way back I had a proctologist named Dr Atila. My first exam he told me because he has fat fingers his nickname is Atila the Thumb.

Yes, as a standardize patient,I received $20 and hour for medical students to ask basic screening questions. This was filmed for their review and I would review with them how it went. They had women doing the same thing with breast exams. I don't know how much they got paid. This was all part of their medical training
If you liked the exam, you'll love the biopsy. Who doesn't love a medical procedure that includes lube and a condom?
When I found out a few weeks later that I had cancer and they recommended surgery to remove my prostate, I was genuinely a little relieved that I'd never have to do another prostate biopsy.
