Another summer day in west Georgia/east Alabama. High humidity of course. But critters have been fed and humans will be as well. Coffee is made.
Because a good day starts with good coffee.
Make it a good one is spite of what humankind and the people of Madison are up to.

WFH day. Rain. Dog asleep somewhere. Work.

Up before alarm. Went back to sleep until alarm

Got a little rain last night so that was good

The Aussie and me scared a big armadillo that was digging in the yard

I'm hungry!

10am meeting rescheduled for next week

Need to wrap up some loose ends today

Puppies and kitties wanted lots of pets this morning

Been working for the past 2 hours, hoping to hang it up a little early today and ease into the weekend.

Saw someone post on LinkedIn that they are sitting on their patio enjoying a "cool July morning."
The sentence doesn't compute for this Texan.

Decided to take a break and come here.

MapTap kicked my butt yesterday.

It is a lot cooler than it was twelve hours ago, at least on my porch.

• Slept in until 8; I can't blame the cat(s) for this one
• Espresso for a pick-me-up instead of regular coffee
• Trying to figure out how much more of my stuff I can get rid of
• I need to get my first mariachi arrangement done

Don't mess with Morty. This kid gets it.

- The dog trainer who was going to give me a crash course tonight canceled which is extra disappointing bc I canceled half my weekend plans to make the time she scheduled aaaaand it's too late to get them back. Ugh.
- I really hope we can find time on Sunday night bc I don't have much time before the dumb dog show!

Well travel softball is over for the summer. Played 3 games today. It was BRUTAL. It was extremely hot and hardly any wind until the last game. Even if we had won a second game, not sure how the girls would have played 4-5 games like some teams. I think it's 6 to get to the finals. Not sure why they put so much of the bracket in one day.

But it was a great trip. We are gonna head home tomorrow instead of Sunday. And I'll be going home with all clean laundry so that's a plus!

Looking at doing two mini split hvac systems in the condo.
