Woke up at 4:45 a.m.

80 degrees in the Fort.

These 60 plus hour work weeks are getting old.

Peddle something today.

Ready for the end of the day.

Dog to daycare, office day. One meeting and a bunch of other time blocked so people will let me work.

To bed late but before midnight. Up once so I hydrated well yesterday. Slept until 6:30am so that's good.

Dinner last night at Manuel's. It was outstanding. Really enjoyed it.

Head home later today.

No chance I eat breakfast. I'm still full from last night!

It's been a good week.

Overcast day in west Georgia/east Alabama. Rain expected later today; critters are fed. Humans will be fed next as well, but coffee is made.
Because a good day starts with good coffee.
Make it a good one in spite of what humankind and the market are up to.

-Slept pretty good. Awake around 7:15.
-Sipping on a Diet Coke in my new cute cup I got.
-Won 1, lost 1 in softball yesterday
-2 games today. Hoping rain holds off. Looks like it's mostly past us.
-Read my book and get a little work done.

Rough night. Cute grandson got up at 3:00; we could not put him back in his bed without him crying. Had to let him wail it out in 2 10 minute shifts so he could essentially cry himself to sleep. He did so in the second shift near 4:00 am.

I will miss him but he goes home this evening to his parents. It's been a great, but tiring, 5 days.

It gets better in their teen years. Our grandsons come over and they are on their phones, quite as nice unless they want a snack, tea or Dr Pepper.

Eh. It's bad. It's not terrible. Firmly convinced everyone way overreacts because they are conditioned to feel they need to.

I had cause to use Google Maps a bit ago. There is a processing center for Operation Christmas Child (the Samaritan's Purse charity effort) along my route, but the way it showed up on the map was

- 6 hours fishing, then took the kids to the beach, then grilled some red snapper and shrimp (it was good!)
- drive back was okay
- girls have already made plans tonight so I gotta run them around. I just wanna sleep
- gf is on a Rhine River cruise for like 7 more days. I miss sex.
- back to reality tomorrow and I'm kinda dreading it

It's miserable. My truck temp started rising and I got alarms on my dash. My butthole puckered a little. Immediately got the oil changed (been putting it off) and had them top off the coolant. Back to normal.
