- Up early. Slept decent.
- TRAVEL WORK. All day. Tons to do. I have a 41 room wedding happening in Cancun early next month and need to get all their transfers booked and final docs sent out.
- Other travel work as well.
- Watch the WCWS on ESPN pretty much all day.
- Aggies play at 2PM! BTHO Arizona St.
- Pretty excited about my mom finding a house 4 doors down that's perfect. I didn't quite need her that close, but it will be great. We go out to eat usually once per week, she goes with us to softball, etc, so def makes it easier.

Ironically my daughter seemed really excited about it when I picked her up at her job last night. They aren't super close, but they do go to dinner, etc every once in awhile.

Gonna ditch the mattress in the front room today and get a new one. I was surprised at how well the mattress I got for the back room performed and it was just a memory foam out of a box from Wal-Mart. Sealy or Simmons or something.
Guess I'll be a Person of Wal-Mart today. But wait! I already showered!
Picked up a package from the post office. Looper pedal I've been waiting on for a long time. Looking forward to learning how to use it.
Maybe a landfill run with the old mattress today.

Happy Saturday in west Georgia/east Alabama as we head toward summer temps. Our over 55 community announced that the outdoor pool was open. Unfortunately it was 50 degrees when the announcement came out.

My family still owns the farm house in Ireland that my great great great grandfather grew up in. My great grandfather emigrated to Wyoming from that farm house in the mid-late 1800's with about 30 head of sheep. Took them on a ship across the Atlantic, then took them by train from New York to Wyoming to establish his ranch there.
Unfortunately, my family no longer has ownership of the Wyoming ranch. My great grandfather sold it because he didn't want his son (my grandfather) to have the same life he did.
But thankfully, we are good friends with the current owners, and have had the ability to tour the ranch multiple times.

You can shoot somebody in Texas for doing that....at the very least you should break out some rock salt on them.

I didn't catch the children part. When I see the word "kids", I think of college kids. They don't come to my area because we are all olds with itchy trigger fingers...I have only peppered a couple kids in my days.

Knee rehab is a strange life. I've been given all sorts of little exercises to do, told I might want to use crutches for some number of days, etc. The fact is I live two flights of stairs above my car. I climbed those stairs four times today. I'm doing my exercises and LOTS MORE. I had this discussion with my nurse-practitioner before the surgery. She assures me that my knee can take anything I can give it. This Ketorolac seems to be an effective pain killer, and I'm allowed to supplement it with Tylenol. I've also been given Hydrocodone, but I won't take those. I'm a recovering alcoholic, and I used to abuse those in college (they mix crazy well with beer).
Been watching baseball during my exercises. Today's A&M game was wretched. At one point we'd received 11 walks and had only two hits. We won, which is what matters, but exercising is a lot less dull with better baseball. The Royal@Cardinals game was a more pleasant exercise experience,
Also watched "Leprechaun 2" and "Leprechaun 3" today. It's a shame Starz isn't showing the Leprechaun in the Hood movies as well. I absolutely love those original Leprechaun movies. Only watched the first one in the reboot and didn't care for it.
