Banana ball. Baseball for people who don't like baseball.

Baseball for people who want to go to see the show and generally just be entertained. Not exactly the same but a dialed back version is what the NFL did when they had the European teams. They played music at every break and had dance contests, threw beach balls into the crowd, had all the halftime fan contests like they do at minor league games, etc. There's a good story on 60 minutes about it. They say they sell out MLB and NFL stadiums pretty much every time, and the crowd raves about it.
