My family is going through a very difficult time and I never imagined I would be in this position, asking for help like this. We recently experienced the heartbreaking loss of our father/grandfather/great grandfather,Robert Howell, and we are now facing the financial burden of his funeral and burial expenses.

It's not easy asking for help, at this time, as I know many of you are experiencing financial strains also. However, we urgently need help trying to cover the remaining balance of $12,000.00.

The pessimist in me is wondering why he is only referred to as father/grandfather in the link. Did he not have a name? Same for mother/grandmother.

Good point. Sorry about that. His name is Robert Howell. I looked back and thought I had his name on the gofundme page.

I edited the amount needed also. I don't know why it stated $18,000. I took off the automatic goal setting which might have been the problem.
I can promise that this is a legitimate gofundme.
