Here's mine. Pretty Cool. No manipulation; a self functioning trick that you only need to deal.

Shuffled deck. Deal three cards face up in a row.

Now, count cards from the deck in your hand up from the first card to 13. ie. if the card is a 5, you would count 6 - 13 7 cards on top of the #5. So you would have 8 total cards in the first stack. Then turn the stack over so the numbers are face down.

Do the same with the next two stacks.

Now you have 3 stacks face down.

From the deck in your hand, count down 10 cards. ( You can spell the word IMPOSSIBLE to be dramatic). Discard this stack of 10.

Next, turn over the first cards of your outer two stacks. Add their total and count that many off the top of the deck in your hand. Discard this stack too.

Bet someone that the number of cards left in your hand will equal the number of the top first card in the middle deck.

Works every time! I'm a statistics major and have no idea why!

Here's a blind guy who had Penn & Teller shuffle a deck of cards and then proceeded to produce impossible results from it. You can skip the first two minutes.

Ask them to pick a card and show it to everyone. While they are showing it to people look at the bottom card in the deck and memorize it. Ask them put their card on the top of the deck. Do a cut or two and then look through the deck to find their card which will be the one after the card you memorized (or if the card you memorized is the last card then their card is now at the top of the deck)

I have done this trick like 5 times and no one ever notices me checking out the bottom card. Alcohol likely helps with the misdirection.

Discarding the 10 cards leaves you with (52-10) 42
The rest is just setting up 3 sets of 13 (3*13=42)
If you start with a 5, then you added 7 more, so when you complete that later by adding 5 ti will be 13.
Counting off the sum of the outer stacks completes those sets of 13 which leaves you with the middle number which will equal the number of cards left in the deck.

A small variation of this is to cut the deck and have them place the card and take a quick glance at the card above their card.

Then proceed to lay down cards from the top of the deck in rows and columns. When you see their card (after the one you peeked at), keep going a few more then announce, "I bet you _____ that the next card that I flip over will be your card". Instead of turning over the next card in the deck, flip over their card that was already laid down.

I once played Texas Hold 'em with Tarot cards.

I was dealt a full house and three people died.
