Great sunny day in the southeast. Coffee, light breakfast then I need to go find some good sharp cheddar, pimentos and horseradish and make that pimento cheese. Fresh peaches, cherries, nectarines on hand so life is good!

  • Starbucks oatmeal and Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso for breakfast
  • Want to buy a dash camera today.
  • Several meetings.
  • 18th anniversary. Somehow hubs has put up with me for that long.
  • Kiddo has softball in Caldwell - so we are going to the nicest restaurant there - MasFajitas!

Not gonna be too hot today - I'll take it!

Couple years old but had good info.



I've had three or so Nextbase cameras and liked them. Seems like eventually the heat kills batteries in all of them. Ours are hardwired and just go continuously.

Actually, no. Humidity is great for the skin and I have lived in the mountains long enough. Plus, Georgia is olds/veteran friendly for taxes and fees for drivers license and car registration. We may visit out there next summer when our fave resort in Midway, UT has its remodeling done, but it's mostly Mexico and Europe in our future travel plans.

  • 148% humidity in Charleston and hair has poofed out accordingly
  • Kids are back home with me this week and next, and they're off having fun at a summer camp their school puts on while I'm here at work
  • Well/med check for Mr Awesome this morning and his other mom actually behaved at the dr's office for a change
  • He couldn't sleep well last night because of all the rain and ended up in my room with the dog sleeping on him for being in her spot
  • Evening plans for the week are to take the kids to game night at a coworker's house on Tuesday, then a meetup game night on Thursday where I'm also seeing someone from Bumble BFF for the first time.
  • Nothing too crazy, she's straight and married and I'm just fine being on my own for now

Don't do anything I wouldn't do!

Vacation day today to get my sh** together for work tomorrow. Need to setup my personal PC and work laptop. They share a mouse, kbd, and monitor. Benny and I more or less unboxed our personal stuff yesterday. Need to throw up a shower curtain at some point today and get after everything else.

PC is dead. Was afraid powering it off for a full day might not be good. I've had it since Dec 2013, so it's had a long life. A Lenovo i7 w/32 GB of RAM. I'm really not in a position to buy a PC right now, so I'll probably just get by with an old laptop for a while.

I built my last computer with an i5 and a 1070 graphics card. It was great from 2017 until about six months ago. Finally bought a new one at Micro Center so I could use Windows 11 and have more performance for some current games.

Chemtrails are nonsense (sounds like it's something you'd not heard of). Also sounds like Uncle Mark is choosing a life of "alternative facts." That's a thing now.
